Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the result service. Romulus Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting services create routine logs, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain Romulus Residents Directory and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use the limited data described here to operate the service, resolve technical problems, measure overall traffic, and improve the pages. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual visitor profiles.
Outside Links and Services
Romulus pages link to Wayne County and Michigan records portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. The privacy terms of those services govern information submitted to them, including information entered through sponsored search results supplied by another company.

Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for as long as the operational purposes above require. No visitor account, password, or personal profile is created on Romulus Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent us information, and we will delete it.
Choices and Michigan Privacy Rules
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a service holds. The research for this Romulus resource did not identify a comprehensive general Michigan consumer-privacy law for this purpose, but Michigan record-specific protections still apply. Voter-registration fields are subject to redactions under MCL 168.509gg, birth-record access is restricted as stated in MCL 333.2882, and the Address Confidentiality Program is established by Act 301 of 2020, MCL 780.851 et seq.
